About Us
Angel McKee, CPA
Angel is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Co-founder of Blackbird Accounting, PLLC. She has saved her business clients thousands through careful tax and entity planning. She cares about her clients and strives to be their advocate in all financial matters. Her goal is not to simply prepare your returns at tax time, but to understand your business and be the first person you think of with financial questions. Angel started her accounting career at PricewaterhouseCoopers and has been in the industry for over 20 years. She is a native of Clark County and lives in Hockinson with her husband and three children.
Colleen DeGroat, CPA
Colleen is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Co-founder of Blackbird Accounting, PLLC. She has over 17 years of accounting experience in a variety of fields. Through these experiences she found her passion in bookkeeping and taxes. Due to her thorough nature, one of her major accomplishments was discovering unintentional accounting errors that ultimately led to millions of dollars being returned to the Clark County School Districts. She has helped many business clients clean up their disorganized books. Colleen thinks accounting is fun and would love to take that burden on for you, allowing you to focus on building your business. She and her husband are now empty nesters, reside in Vancouver, and love to travel.
