Colleen, a CPA and Co-Founder of Blackbird Accounting, PLLC, brings over 20 years of diverse accounting expertise to her clients. She specializes in bookkeeping and tax services and has a keen eye for detail. Due to her thorough nature, one of her major accomplishments was discovering unintentional accounting errors that ultimately led to millions of dollars being returned to the Clark County School Districts. She has also assisted many businesses with organizing their books and improving their financial management. Colleen enjoys accounting and wants to help you with your accounting needs, so you can focus on growing your business. Colleen lives in Vancouver with her husband and loves to travel, especially now that their children have left the nest.
Colleen is a member of the Hazel Dell Salmon Creek Business Association and enjoys networking with the other members. She also enjoys participating in local charity events with organizations such as the Evergreen Habitat for Humanity chapter.

With over 20 years of experience in the accounting industry, she has established herself as a knowledgeable and experienced professional. Her focus goes beyond simply preparing tax returns; she is dedicated to assisting her business clients in saving money through careful tax and entity planning.
One of Angel's distinctive qualities is her commitment to her clients. She aims to be their advocate in all financial matters, ensuring that she not only handles their tax needs but also comprehensively understands their business. This approach makes her the go-to person for her clients' financial questions.
Angel began her accounting career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, a renowned global accounting firm. Her extensive experience and background have undoubtedly contributed to her proficiency in the field.
Furthermore, Angel's roots are in Clark County, and she currently resides in Hockinson with her husband and three children. Angel serves as the treasurer for the Hockinson Football Boosters and volunteers for the Hockinson Wrestling team, demonstrating her commitment to her local community by supporting extracurricular activities that benefit the youth in the area.

Julie has many years of accounting experience and loves her work here at Blackbird Accounting. Julie enjoys working with clients and helping to keep things in order and solve problems as they arise. According to Julie, accounting is like a puzzle and each piece has its place; when it is done correctly you will have a picture of what your business looks like.
Outside of work, scorekeeping for baseball and softball is a passion for Julie. She has volunteered for several years with youth sports and the local high school baseball and softball teams and loves to teach this art to others. Julie enjoys sewing and learning new things, but she enjoys spending time with her family far above any other pastime.

Megan Schierling is a seasoned credit union professional, well-versed in accounting, payroll, lending, and corporate training. Her diverse background includes stints at a small accounting firm at Pratt & Whitney's Accounts Payable department. She earned a business and economics degree from the University of North Texas.
Outside work, she enjoys outdoor adventures and family travels, while actively contributing as a board member of the Hockinson High School Music Boosters, showcasing her commitment to community engagement.

Donna Keel is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who specializes in tax compliance for individuals and small businesses. She is dedicated to helping clients navigate complex tax regulations and optimizing their tax savings.
Donna joined Blackbird Accounting, PLLC in 2022 and enjoys working with a variety of clients from different industries. She strives to deliver excellent service and establish lasting trust with clients.
Donna resides in Vancouver with her spouse and two kids.

Office Manager
Jordan has been working as the Office Manager of the Blackbird Accounting team since August of 2021. She helps to keep things organized around the office, send out tax returns, and communicate with clients. Her favorite part of the job is getting to see all of her sweet team members every day.
Jordan's life outside of work includes school at Washington State University Vancouver and spending a lot of time with family and friends!

Angela, an accomplished tax professional for over a decade, is an enrolled agent with the IRS. She has collaborated with esteemed CPA's and accountants in the Pacific Northwest. Alongside her professional endeavors, she mentors fourth-grade girls in the AWANA program, sings in her church choir and loves to garden.
Currently residing in Wyoming with her supportive husband, a distinguished army veteran. Her roots in Clark County, Washington, have played a pivotal role in shaping her life.
